Join Birdhers and Portland Parks & Rec for a planting event at Kelly BUTTE Natural Area in Southeast Portland.

We believe we have a responsibility, as bird watchers and nature lovers, to steward and practice reciprocity with the places we enjoy. Portland Parks and Rec provides many opportunities for land stewardship.

Saturday Jan. 10 we will be planting native shrubs and flowers to improve habitat for the local wildlife and people. REGISTRATION is required for this free event. Please dress for the weather (layers and rain gear are great!), wear sturdy, waterproof shoes, and bring personal water bottle and snacks. Tools, gloves, project instruction, coffee/tea and light snacks will be provided.
