Birding walk and non-hierarchal knowledge sharing space for women, trans (trans men + trans women) and non-binary people. All experience levels and ages encouraged! Bring your binoculars or borrow some of ours. Dress for the weather and wear sturdy shoes.
Walks, taken at a slow pace, usually range between 1-2 miles and 2-3 hours. Every walk is different and each is catered to the unique needs of those attending. Please arrive on time. We’ll start with short introductions (name, pronouns and short answer to group prompt) and close out with an opportunity for community announcements, needs, events and questions.
Location: Columbia Children’s Arboretum We meet on the west side of the park on NE 6th Dr. There is a tiny parking lot here, street parking nearby and we have permission from the business across the street to use their parking lot at 10111 NE 6th Dr. on Saturday mornings.
