Join us for a Vanport History and Birding walk at Force Lake in part with Slough Fest, a week of free programming along the Columbia Slough. Alongside numerous partners, we’ll lead explorations of this hidden gem, highlighting the birds, plants, and other wildlife living in this special place. We’ll also highlight two upcoming policies that have the potential to impact environmental protections in the slough: the Economic Opportunities Analysis and the Columbia Corridor Industrial Lands E-zone project. We’ll break down what these policies are, and how you can help us advocate for the most environmentally friendly outcomes.
