Birding walk and non-hierarchal knowledge sharing space for women, trans (trans men + trans women) and non-binary people. All experience levels and ages encouraged! Bring your binoculars or borrow some of ours. Dress for the weather and wear sturdy shoes.

Walks, taken at a slow pace, usually range between 1-2 miles and about 2 ish hours. Every walk is different and each is catered to the unique needs of those attending. Please arrive on time. We’ll start with short introductions (name, pronouns and short answer to group prompt) and close out with an opportunity for community announcements, needs, events and questions.

Location: Powell Butte - Ellis Street trailhead at Ellis St & SE 145th Ave

This is a longer and more strenuous hike than we normally do. We will split into two groups, one group of people who want to walk quickly and circle the top and a group who wants to take their time and travel shorter distance.
