Bird watching outing and non-hierarchal knowledge sharing space for women, trans (trans men + trans women) and non-binary people. All experience levels and ages encouraged! Bring your binoculars or borrow some of ours. Dress for the weather and wear sturdy shoes.
This walk will be co-facilitated by a birder with disability. The shuttles are ADA equipped and the first .5 miles of the trail are paved ADA accessible trail. We will move slowly and with intention to observe the plants and animals around us. At a half mile in there is a place to sit and observe, we’ll also have the option to continue another ¼ mile to a bridge that overlooks the creek. Total length between 1-1.5 miles.

Please arrive on time. We’ll start with short introductions (name, pronouns and short answer to group prompt) and close out with an opportunity for community announcements, needs, events and questions.

To catch the FREE shuttle with us, Arrive at Peninsula Park Community Center (City Stop ID 4): At 10:20, Shuttle leaves at 10:30 AM or meet us at the Trailhead at 11. We will return to Peninsula Park Community Center at 1:30
